As with any chew toy, we always recommend monitoring your dog's use and replacing after reasonable wear, no toy is indestructible. Coffee Wood:
We only harvest coffee trees that are old and have low yield for beans. Only trees over 20 years old are chopped down in order to obtain the wood in a sustainable manner. Harvesting only mature trees results in less splinters or cracks in the bones. Humidity levels are tested to ensure the strength and durability - only humidity levels below 15% are used for manufacturing. Recommended chewing time is 20 minutes. Monitoring your dog during play is very important. These sticks are recommended for moderate - light chewers.
Manufacturing process: After the trees are collected, we start cleaning and drying the wood to remove any impurities and moisture. The next step is to shape, polish & buff the wood into smooth surface. The final step is quality control, where each piece of chew stick is inspected to ensure that they meet the standard of quality, safety, and durability.
