Easy Bake Recipie for National Biscuit Day

It’s Almost National Dog Biscuit Day! (Yes, this is a real holiday in February.)

We’re celebrating at my house by baking up a big ol’ batch of these bark-worthy peanut butter and oatmeal dog treats. They’re so, so good. When presented with one, your dog will do anything you ask. ANYTHING. Even something as dreaded “lay down and stay while I cook dinner.”

Not only that—these biscuits are cheap, they’re vegan and additive-free, and they’ll make your house smell tantalizingly of cookies. Which is, in fact, what they are. Deluxe peanut-butter cookies for dogs. Enjoy!

Peanut Butter Dog Cookies

3 cups organic white or whole wheat flour
1 cup organic peanut butter
1/2 cup organic oats
1 tsp baking powder
Around 1 cup water

Mix together the ingredients, adding enough water to get a pliable but not sticky dough. Roll it out and cut biscuits with a cookie cutter or knife. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, then flip over and bake until golden brown (usually about 10 more minutes). Cool and serve.
