5 NEW YEAR RESOWOOFTIONS YOU CAN MAKE WITH YOUR PETS

New Year, New Woof!

Here’s how to include your best friend in your best year yet!

1. Try Something New

Whoever said, “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” clearly hasn’t gotten out lately. Whether you are a seasoned dog parent or a proud, new puppy parent, dog games are a fun and exciting way to play and engage with your dog!

These treat seeking puzzles challenge you and your dog to new problem solving skills and help you to train and play with your dog in new ways!

2. Explore New Heights

If you’ve been timid to break new ground, bring your dog along for the journey! To help you in your travels, we’ve created dog backpacks and packs to hold the essentials like car keys, and potty bags making you hands-free for more time Instagramming all the beautiful scenery!

Plus, getting outdoors with your dog is an excellent way to strengthen your bond; your body and dog will thank you for the extra exercise!

3. Say Goodbye to Bad Habits

Did your dog chew through one too many pairs of shoes, pillows or slippers last year? Help them ditch these bad habits and learn something new about your dog in the process by exploring their chewing needs!

Your vet will help you understand if they are restless or have separation anxiety which may be causing them to chew through your things and not theirs! Matching them to a durable chew toy will likely help their boredom and your bank account!

4. Spread the Ruv

Start the year off on the right food and paw by Spreading the Ruv to others! Looking into ways to volunteer with your dog is a great way to become more active in your local communities and towns and is a wonderful way to work on your dog’s social skills with other animals and people.

Check out the ways our CMO Michael Parness took time to #SpreadTheRuv this past year with his therapy dog, Goober here!

5. Challenge Yourself

When was the last time you did something for the first time? Trying a new activity like Paddle Boarding is a fun and way to get you and your dog trying new things together!

Be sure to suit them up with a life jacket before you hit the water! Even shallow water can present challenges and it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
